Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Nouvelle

Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Nouvelle is a Gothic sanctuary in Locronan with a rectangular floor plan and a domed bell tower rising from its roof. The building sits beside a 1698 fountain and a monumental cross in the village center.

The sanctuary is first recorded in a 1439 will, showing its deep roots in the local community. Major renovations in the 15th and 18th centuries shaped its appearance today, particularly with the addition of the bell tower.

This chapel marks the fifth station of the Grande Troménie, a traditional pilgrimage that winds through the village every six years. Visitors can experience how the sanctuary connects to the spiritual life of the community during this procession.
