Château de Brandon

Château de Brandon is a castle featuring two fortified courtyards with square corner towers and a prominent thirteenth-century drawbridge tower structure. The layout shows the typical defensive design of medieval fortifications in this region.

Built on a former Roman camp, this castle controlled the Agrippa road that connected the Empire's capital to northern Gaul. This strategic location was important for defense and trade route control from ancient times through the medieval period.
