Château de Pont-de-Briques, Historical castle in Saint-Léonard, France.

The castle features a central building with two extending wings, surrounded by gardens designed according to classical French architectural principles.

Napoleon Bonaparte established his headquarters at the castle from 1803 to 1805, directing military operations and issuing over 300 letters during his stay.

The castle opens its historical sections to visitors during Heritage Days, when the Napoleonic Studies Center conducts educational presentations about the site.

The castle grounds include designated parking areas, and guided tours are available through the Boulonnais metropolitan community, which owns portions of the structure.

Within these walls, Napoleon made the critical decision to abandon the invasion of England and march toward Vienna, changing the course of European history.
