Chapelle du Saint-Sang, Historic chapel in Bréquerecque district, Boulogne-sur-Mer, France.
The Chapel of the Holy Blood features stone walls, colored stained glass windows, and ceramic flooring in yellow, red, and blue tones.
Built in 1859 on the site of an ancient sanctuary from the 3rd century, the chapel received the Holy Blood relic sent from Jerusalem by Godfrey of Bouillon.
The chapel contains two major religious artifacts: a 17th-century statue of Our Lady of Boulogne and a 14th-century reliquary of the Holy Blood.
Located at 55 Avenue John Kennedy, the chapel opens its doors to visitors during Heritage Days and maintains regular visiting hours throughout the year.
The entire sculptural program of the chapel was created by London artist William Farmer, while the stained glass windows came from Levêque workshops in Beauvais.
