Château d'eau de Brive

The Château d'eau de Brive is a lighthouse-shaped water tower standing at the end of a tree-lined promenade with Mediterranean gardens. The structure features olive trees and lavender plantings that frame its distinctive silhouette.

Built in 1834, this tower was designed to store and distribute water from the Doux River to the city through gravity systems. It represented a major advancement in urban water infrastructure during the 1800s.

The tower served as a gathering point where residents could enjoy views and connect with their community. Its central location made it a natural hub for city celebrations and public meetings.
