Collégiale Saint-Ours de Loches, Romanesque church in Loire Valley, France

The Saint-Ours Collegiate Church features two octagonal pyramidal towers called dubes and contains ornate stone carvings throughout its architectural elements.

Built between the 11th and 12th centuries, the church underwent reconstruction in the 1840s when Alexandre Vestier replaced most of the nave vaults.

The church houses the tomb of Agnes Sorel, a notable French aristocrat and companion of King Charles VII, relocated there in April 2005.

Located at Place Charles VII in Loches, the church opens daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM during winter months and until 6:00 PM in summer.

The church's multicolored doorway from the 1150s displays medieval sculptures depicting various human figures and animals from medieval bestiary.
