Théâtre de l'Est parisien

The Théâtre de l'Est Parisien stands at 159 Avenue Gambetta, featuring a main auditorium that accommodates 300 spectators in the eastern part of Paris.

The venue transformed from a 1911 cinema called Zenith into a cultural institution when the Ministry of Cultural Affairs purchased it in 1963.

The theater presented numerous French contemporary works and classical plays until 2011, when it changed direction to become Le Tarmac.

The theater location connects to Paris public transport through metro line 3B at Saint-Fargeau station and multiple bus routes.

From 2004 to 2011, the theater organized an annual festival called 1.2.3 théâtre, presenting multiple theatrical productions in sequence.
