Église Saint-Bruno de Voiron

The Saint-Bruno Church features two 67-meter towers, three sculpted portals on its facade, and spans 67 meters in length with a nave reaching 22 meters in height.

Construction began in 1864 and completed in 1883, following the city's need for a larger church to accommodate Voiron's growing population of 7,000 inhabitants.

The church contains fifty-four twin stained glass windows and three rose windows created by Jules Gaspar Gsell Laurent, depicting scenes from the Old and New Testament.

Located in Place de la République, the church remains visible from multiple points in the city, including the railway bridge connecting Grenoble to Lyon.

The church incorporates molded cement decorative elements on its exterior, marking an early use of this material shortly after cement production began in Grenoble.
