Château d'Aine

Château d'Aine is a 19th-century castle in Azé set within spacious grounds featuring a large pond, mature trees, and vineyards. The buildings sit across a sprawling park in the Saône-et-Loire department of eastern France.

The current building dates to 1858 and was constructed to replace an earlier structure destroyed in 1789 during the French Revolution. The original estate belonged to the Pâtissier de la Forestille family.

The castle sits surrounded by vineyards and features a heritage orchard that reflects the winemaking traditions of the Mâconnais region. You can see these agricultural roots woven into the property's layout and buildings.

The site operates as a holiday center and language school with accommodations for different group sizes across the buildings. Its proximity to Mâcon and easy access to the grounds make it straightforward to visit and explore.
