Parc Pierre Lagravère, Riverside park in Colombes, France
Parc Pierre Lagravère is a riverside park in Colombes that spreads across a large area along the Seine. The grounds feature wooded paths, open meadows, and various sports facilities available year-round.
The area was originally an island garden called Moulin-Joly in the 18th century. It became connected to mainland Colombes during the 1960s construction of the A86 motorway.
The park is named after Pierre Lagravère, the first president of Hauts-de-Seine department. You can see and use the various sports facilities that have made this place an important spot for local recreation and community gathering.
The park is convenient to reach by public transportation through several bus routes and a tram connection. Free parking is available on-site if you choose to drive.
The grounds mark the endpoint of the Promenade Bleue cycling trail. On the same site, a BMX track has been operated by a local club since 1991.
