Château de Bonneville

The grand salon displays furnishings and wall coverings from the Louis XIV period, featuring elaborate patterns of birds and foliage that reflect the tastes of the era's upper classes.

The castle is accessible on foot from the village center and can be viewed from the exterior, with its facades and roofs protected as a historical monument. It is helpful to check local opening times before visiting, as not all interior areas are regularly open to the public.

A chamber above the grand salon preserves wall paintings from the 18th century with French-style ceiling patterns that visitors often overlook. This hidden room reveals intricate artistic details that become especially interesting when pointed out during a tour.
