Donjon de la Roche-Posay

The Donjon de la Roche-Posay is a square stone tower from the medieval period that stands in the town center. Its robust structure displays the defensive design typical of fortifications from this era, built with thick stone walls and reinforced corners.

The tower was built between the 11th and 12th centuries as a defensive structure. It underwent significant changes in the 14th century when new protective features were added to strengthen its military capabilities.
