Nyéki Hunting lodge

Nyéki Hunting lodge is a ruin from the 15th century with late Gothic details visible in its stone walls and window frames. The remaining structures show how the building was originally designed and constructed.

The lodge was built in the 1480s as a royal property for the nobility's hunting trips. It served as a gathering point for Hungarian aristocratic families who hunted in the surrounding forests.

The lodge was where the nobility gathered to combine hunting with social festivities and formal gatherings. The ruins still reflect how important such places were for aristocratic life in Hungary.

The site is accessible via marked trails in the Nyék district of Budapest. It is an outdoor location best explored during daylight hours to see the stone structures clearly.
