Schloss Hoyos

Schloss Hoyos is a noble residence in Gutenstein featuring a four-sided layout with mansard roofs and multiple wings that define the town's character. The building displays traces of different construction periods within its various sections, showing its long development as a dwelling.

Construction of the castle began in 1670 under Johann Balthasar II von Hoyos as a seat for the family bearing that name. Significant expansions were carried out over the following centuries, transforming the building through the 19th century.
