Sandleitenhof

Sandleitenhof is a large residential complex in Vienna's Ottakring district with roughly 1,600 apartments arranged around connected courtyards and green spaces. The development spreads across several city blocks and includes kindergartens, a public library, and shops.

The complex was built between 1924 and 1928 as part of Vienna's social housing program during the Red Vienna period. It became the city's largest interwar municipal housing development.
