Trabrenngründe

Trabrenngründe is a large residential development in Vienna's 22nd district with approximately 2,400 apartments in 59 stairwells spread across an expansive area. The complex includes a shopping center with a covered promenade, educational facilities, and recreational spaces for residents.

The land served as a trotting track from 1894 until 1963, when Vienna's city government purchased it to build social housing. This transformation from a sports venue to a residential district reflects the city's changing needs.
