The center was founded in 2006 by architects A2RC to serve as a central platform for artistic expression in Brussels. Its opening marked the start of a new cultural institution in the city.
The center houses an Artothek with more than 250 artworks that visitors can borrow, including sculptures and paintings. This collection lets people bring art directly into their homes and decorate their living spaces.
The center is located at Cours Paul Henri Spaak 1 and opens Monday through Friday. Visitors should plan their trips according to these operating days.
The center regularly organizes events like Repair Couture where participants learn about sustainable fashion and textile practices. These workshops combine creativity with practical skills for environmentally conscious action.
