Six Mile Lake Provincial Park spans 212 hectares of natural terrain, featuring three sandy beaches and multiple waterfront camping areas along the lake shore.
The park became an official protected area in 1958, expanding its boundaries in 2004 to accommodate increased visitor numbers and preserve additional natural habitats.
The park serves as an educational center where visitors learn about local plant species, wildlife conservation, and the geological formations shaped by glacial movements.
The park includes 217 campsites with electrical and non-electrical options, boat launches, canoe rentals, and three marked hiking trails for outdoor activities.
Five provincially rare plant species and five rare reptile species inhabit the park, contributing to its ecological importance in Ontario.
