The Windsor Arms Apartments features stained glass windows, terrazzo floors with marble inlays, and detailed entrance portico across five floors.
Architect Cecil Burgess completed this residential structure in 1930 at a construction cost of 300,000 dollars, incorporating advanced amenities.
The building earned recognition in 2009 when the City of Ottawa presented a Certificate of Merit for the restoration of brick and stone parapets.
The apartments maintain original elements including nine-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and deep moldings throughout the 42 residential units.
