Majiabang

Majiabang is an archaeological site in Nanhu subdistrict that contains remains of Neolithic settlements. The excavations have revealed multiple layers of houses, tools, and everyday objects that give insight into the daily life of early communities.

The excavations show that people lived in this region during the Neolithic period and developed early farming methods. The site was later recognized as national cultural heritage and was among the first places to receive state protection.
