Trianon

Trianon is a modern office tower in the Westend-Süd district featuring a striking triangular base that shapes its entire form. Rising 186 meters across 45 floors, the building comprises three distinct sections positioned at the corners of its triangular footprint.

The structure was built between 1990 and 1993, representing a turning point in construction methods through its use of high-strength concrete. For decades afterward, it served as the headquarters of a major financial institution.

The building takes its name from its distinctive triangular shape, which defines the skyline of this district. The public loggia at ground level invites visitors to pass through and spend time around the structure.

The building is easily reached via Taunusanlage transit station, which offers direct access to its base. The public walkway through the ground-level loggia makes it straightforward to move through the space on foot.

The tower's roofline culminates in an inverted triangular pyramid that tapers downward, completing the geometric concept of the entire building. This architectural feature is often overlooked, even though it creates a striking contrast with the stable base below.
