Ditzum Church

Ditzum Church is a red brick building with a rectangular shape and rounded arches that define its Romanesque form. Inside, a wooden barrel vault ceiling curves across the entire space, creating the building's distinctive interior geometry.

This building was constructed in the 12th century and reflects the Romanesque style of that period. Although modifications were made over the centuries, the church has retained its core architectural character.

The Master Hinrich Loesing cup from the 17th century shows how the community has preserved its religious treasures over centuries. These inherited objects connect the people to their spiritual past.
