Evangelical Apostle Paul Church
Evangelical Apostle Paul Church, Gothic Revival church in Schöneberg, Germany
The Apostel-Paulus-Kirche exhibits red brick construction with a central tower reaching 85 meters high and features three bronze bells in its structure.
Architect Franz Schwechten designed this religious structure, which was completed in 1892 and suffered substantial damage during an Allied air raid in 1944.
The church maintains regular worship services and functions as a concert venue, including notable performances such as Rufus Wainwright's 2014 Germany tour stop.
Visitors can access the church daily between 12 PM and 6 PM, with guided tours available through prior arrangement with the community office.
The interior contains a star-vaulted nave and received a new organ in 1964 to replace the original 1894 Wilhelm Sauer instrument damaged during wartime.
