Schwetzingen Palace

Schwetzingen Palace is a rococo residence with two symmetrical wings arranged around a central courtyard. The building sits within expansive gardens that flow across the surrounding landscape, featuring carefully designed pathways and planted areas that provide a calm setting for the architecture.

The site began as a medieval water castle and was later transformed into a summer residence for the ruling electors. Reconstruction in the 18th century made it a center of princely power and cultural activity.
