The SV-Hochhaus is a modern office tower in Bogenhausen with 28 floors and distinctive crystalline architecture. This roughly 100-meter-tall building provides extensive office space and is complemented by an underground parking facility with more than 500 spaces.
The project underwent significant changes following public discussion, with the planned height reduced from about 145 meters to nearly 100 meters. This adjustment reflected community concerns raised during the planning phase.
The building serves as headquarters for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, one of the country's major newspapers. Journalists and editorial staff work here daily, giving the location a distinct identity connected to German media production.
The building is easily accessible by public transportation with good connections in the area. Access is designed to be barrier-free, making it straightforward for various types of visitors to navigate the location.
The tower received a LEED gold certificate in 2010 for energy-efficient construction, making it one of the first office buildings in Germany to earn this recognition. This forward-thinking environmental approach set the building apart from its contemporaries.
