Gebrüder-Grimm-Haus

The Brüder Grimm-Haus is a literary museum in a 16th-century timber-framed building with decorative consoles above the entrance and a prominent staircase tower. The exhibition displays objects from the family's life and literary work spread across multiple rooms with different focuses.

The family lived in this house from 1791 to 1796 while their father Philipp Wilhelm Grimm worked as a district administrator. The building was later converted into a museum to commemorate the brothers and their collecting activities.
