City-Center Fürth

City-Center Fürth is a large shopping center in the downtown area offering retail stores, restaurants, and cafes across about 18,000 square meters. The complex spans multiple levels with an extensive underground parking structure beneath it.

The center opened in September 1985 on the former site of two breweries that once operated in the area. The location had been an industrial zone before its transformation into a shopping destination.

The center once served as a gathering place for local artists who displayed their work in a dedicated exhibition area. This space gave the location a cultural role beyond shopping.

The underground parking provides ample spaces across multiple levels with electronic displays showing available spots. Reserved areas are available for visitors with disabilities, and access to the shopping floors is straightforward.

The parking structure beneath the center was designed with the ability to function as a civil defense shelter. This hidden dual purpose makes it one of Germany's largest facilities of this type.
