The hexagonal church building features a triangular appearance with cut-off corners, reflecting its dedication to the Holy Trinity through architectural design.
The foundation stone was laid in June 1929, and Archbishop Caspar Klein of Paderborn consecrated the church on August 28, 1930.
The interior redesign in the 1970s followed the Second Vatican Council guidelines, removing the high altar and side altars to adapt to new liturgical practices.
The church houses a Rieger organ from 1933, which expanded from two to three manuals and underwent complete restoration between 2010 and 2011.
The building lacks a traditional tower but incorporates a light structure above the central hall, with a horizontal band illuminating the altar space indirectly.
