Dreieinigkeitskirche, Catholic church in southern Halle, Germany.

Dreieinigkeitskirche is a Catholic church in southern Halle with a hexagonal structure and cut-off corners, reflecting its dedication to the Holy Trinity through its architectural design. The building has an unusual geometric form that sets it apart from traditional church architecture.

The foundation stone was laid in June 1929, and the Archbishop of Paderborn consecrated the church on August 28, 1930. The building emerged during the interwar period and reflects architectural approaches of that era.

The interior was redesigned in the 1970s to reflect new liturgical practices, removing the traditional altar arrangement. This redesign changed how people experience and move through the prayer space today.

The building lacks a traditional tower, making orientation from the outside distinctive. The interior contains a carefully restored organ that is notable for its acoustic qualities.

Instead of a tower, the building features a light structure above the central hall with a horizontal light band that indirectly illuminates the altar space. This unconventional approach creates a special quality of light rarely found in traditional churches.
