Stadtkirche Tuttlingen

Stadtkirche Tuttlingen is a Protestant church with neoclassical design featuring a 68-meter tower that dominates the townscape. The structure displays three symmetrical gates and contains a carefully arranged interior space for worship.

A major city fire in 1803 destroyed the previous Peter and Paul Church, prompting construction of the current building which was dedicated on October 31, 1817. This reconstruction became an important moment in Tuttlingen's urban renewal.

The interior walls feature large paintings created by Rudolf Yelin in 1893 showing scenes of Jesus in prayer and his ascension, which remain central to the spiritual atmosphere visitors encounter. These works shape how people experience the sacred space and its religious purpose today.
