Herz-Jesu-Kirche, Catholic parish church in Weiden in der Oberpfalz, Germany
The church structure extends 55.5 meters in length and features two prominent towers rising 22 meters high with a main nave flanked by side aisles.
Following population growth in Weiden, the Herz-Jesu parish was established in 1922, leading to the church construction in 1933 under Professor Otho Orlando Kurz's design.
The interior displays fourteen stained glass windows depicting the seven sacraments and seven works of mercy, along with a significant mosaic by Professor Josef Eberz.
The parish office, located at Lerchenfeldstr. 7, opens Monday, Tuesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30, with additional Thursday afternoon hours.
The church houses an organ built by Georg Jann in 1991, containing three manuals and 3920 pipes arranged across 52 registers.
