Tier- und Freizeitpark Thüle

Tier- und Freizeitpark Thüle is a combination zoo and amusement park in Lower Saxony where visitors explore animal enclosures and ride mechanical attractions. The facility has different sections with both native and exotic animals as well as several rides and play areas for various age groups.

The park's history begins in the 1960s when a farming couple started raising deer on their rural property. This private animal collection gradually grew into a public facility that later expanded with various rides and attractions.

The grounds have well-marked paths that can be explored on foot, with some areas easily accessible to strollers and wheelchairs. Visitors should wear comfortable shoes and allow time for feeding sessions and keeper demonstrations, as these moments add to the experience.

A notable feature is the Lost World adventure area that combines dinosaur themes with thrilling rides, added to the park in recent years. This was a first-of-its-kind attraction when it opened in German parks.
