Marienkirche, Catholic parish church in Siegen, Germany.
The Marienkirche stands with baroque architecture on the southern slope of Siegberg hill along Löhrstrasse, featuring three bells added in 1734.
Construction began on March 29, 1702, under Prince Wilhelm Hyazinth, and the church required two decades to complete due to financial constraints.
The church functions as a burial site for Count Johann V of Nassau and Elisabeth Landgravine of Hessen-Marburg, ancestors of William the Silent.
Marienkirche offers regular mass services and remains accessible by multiple transportation methods, including trains, cars, bikes, and pedestrian paths.
The building represents the single Catholic church within Siegen's former city walls and the only remaining baroque religious structure in the area.
