Klingemühle, Historic watermill in Friedland Niederlausitz, Germany
The Klingemühle watermill stands in the Schlaubetal Nature Park, with the Klinge Lake directly in front of the accommodation complex.
First documented in 1517 as Khlingemole, the mill received ownership confirmation from Landvogt Heinrich Tunckel von Bernitzko that same year.
The mill served as a mandatory grinding facility for local farmers, where they brought their grain for processing until the early 19th century.
The facility now offers 56 fixed beds across multiple apartments, with additional capacity for up to 76 people using supplementary sleeping arrangements.
The property includes free canoe rentals for guests to explore the surrounding waterways within the extensive forest area.
