Fürstenhof

Fürstenhof is a three-story building in Neo-Renaissance style set near the Saale River with a southern wing. The structure displays characteristic features of this architectural period with detailed facade work and ornate rooflines.

The building was originally constructed in 1856 as Hotel Bellevue and suffered damage during the Battle of Kissingen in 1866. Reconstruction afterward shaped its development into the structure visitors see today.

The name reflects its original purpose as a princely residence during the 1800s. Today, visitors can see how the grand architecture shaped daily life for European nobility living within these walls.

The building is just minutes from Bad Kissingen's old town and easily reached on foot. Visitors should allow time to explore the exterior and surroundings at a comfortable pace.

A villa built in 1884 known as Gordon Villa stands separately on the property and is individually registered as a heritage monument. The building displays a family crest and marks a distinctive period in the estate's story.
