Gertrudenkapelle

Gertrudenkapelle is a brick structure from the Middle Ages with Gothic architectural forms located in the city of Güstrow. The interior features a geometric vault system supported by a central column arranged in radiating patterns.

The chapel came into being in the 15th century as part of a hospital complex dedicated to Saint Gertrude. It was a place where travelers sought help and shelter.
