Kulturzentrum Schlachthof

The Kulturzentrum Schlachthof contains multiple event spaces, including a 1,200-square-meter concert hall and the renovated historical water tower from 1899.

Before its transformation into a cultural venue in 1994, the building complex served as the municipal slaughterhouse until its closure in 1990.

The center presents 150 concerts annually, featuring international performers across genres from heavy metal to indie pop, alongside literary events and comedy shows.

The cultural center stands 500 meters southeast of Wiesbaden central station, with the surrounding 3-hectare park offering recreational facilities and walking paths.

The restored water tower, completed in 2015 after a 4.5-million-euro renovation, now functions as an office building with additional concert spaces and a bar.
