Schloss Adolfsburg

Schloss Adolfsburg is a Baroque château near Oberhundem with symmetrical wings, a central entrance, and a moat encircling the structure. The building combines defensive design with refined architectural elements typical of its era.

Baron Johann Adolf von Fürstenberg commissioned its construction around 1670 and lived there until his death in 1704. The castle was built during a period when regional nobility displayed their power through architecture.
