Lentpark, Sports complex in Neustadt-Nord, Germany
The Lentpark facility combines an ice sports arena with swimming pools across 12,000 square meters of building space in Cologne.
Construction of Lentpark began in 2009 following the demolition of the previous ice and swimming stadium, opening its doors in October 2011.
The complex hosts home games for the Cologne Sledge Hockey Team, contributing to Paralympic sports development in the region.
The facility includes a 25-meter indoor pool, a training pool, a children's area, and a 50-meter outdoor swimming pool with water slides.
Lentpark stands as the first ice sports facility in Europe accepted into the EU Greenbuilding program for environmental sustainability.
