Wintermühlenhof

Wintermühlenhof is an estate with multiple buildings and spacious grounds in Königswinter. A stream called the Mirbesbach flows through the property and created small ponds on the southern side near Petersberg mountain.

The property was first documented in 1402 as a farm belonging to Heisterbach Abbey. It operated as an agricultural center and mill before evolving into what it is today.

The Mülhens family connected this place to the region's growth as a leisure destination during the 1800s. You can see today how their vision shaped the grounds and what role it plays in local life.

The grounds are easy to explore and offer pleasant walks through different areas. The ponds and pathways are accessible to visitors interested in seeing the landscape and buildings.

A landscape park was built here between 1905 and 1911 using design elements that followed the garden trends of that era. The layout shows how architecture and nature were connected during that period.
