Kauppenbrücke

The Kauppenbrücke stretches 488 meters across with a width of 36.6 meters, featuring two full-wall girders positioned 20 meters apart.

Construction of the new bridge commenced in 2009, replacing a 1959 structure, and reached completion on December 21, 2011, at a cost of 24 million euros.

The preserved pillars from the former 1959 bridge structure have been transformed into climbing towers, adding recreational value to the local community.

The bridge incorporates two traffic lanes in each direction, supporting the flow of vehicles along the A3 motorway between Bessenbach and Weibersbrunn exits.

The central span measures 95 meters, while the support pillars reach a maximum height of 40 meters, demonstrating advanced engineering capabilities.
