Schloß Wocklum

Schloss Wocklum is a water castle situated along the Orlebach stream, constructed with Baroque architectural elements that include spacious halls and refined living quarters. The building complex maintains a lived-in appearance and continues to function as a residence.

The castle came into the hands of the Landsberg-Velen family in 1656 and remained in their possession across subsequent generations. This long continuity shaped its development and regional significance through the present day.
