Schloss Neuses am Sand is a two-story stone château featuring two round corner towers, a polygonal stair tower with a spiral staircase, and prominent volute gables. The building sections are arranged around an interior courtyard, where one of the original four defensive towers has been preserved.

The castle was founded in 1498 as a fief for Hans Fuchs von Bimbach and later passed into the hands of Hans Wolf von Wolfsthal. This transfer marked a turning point in the site's history and its architectural development.

The entrance portal displays the restored coat of arms of the Fuchs family, which you can still see today. The inscription on the weathervane from 1682 carries the signature of Philipp von Wolfsthal and tells of the building's former residents.

Today the building houses a wine estate, a restaurant serving regional Franconian food, and a hotel with modern amenities. Visitors can explore the interior courtyard freely and view the architectural details from the outside.

The weathervane atop the medieval defensive tower dates to 1682 and bears the handwritten signature of its maker. This makes it a rare example of dated and signed craftsmanship from that period.
