Rheinpreußenhafen, Industrial port and architectural structure in Duisburg, Germany.
The Rheinpreußenhafen features a 500-meter-long and 75-meter-wide dock basin connected to the Rhine through a 240-meter canal for maritime operations.
The port, constructed between 1906 and 1908, served as a transshipment point for coal from Zeche Rheinpreußen in Homberg and Zeche Friedrich Heinrich in Kamp-Lintfort.
The port forms part of the Route der Industriekultur, a network showcasing the industrial heritage sites of the Rhine-Ruhr region.
The port currently functions as a tank storage and transfer facility for the INEOS plant in Rheinkamp, while maintaining its eastern rail connections.
The hydraulic lift bridge crossing the canal, built in 1931, stands as the oldest of its type in Duisburg, measuring 75 meters in length.
