The four-wing castle features round corner towers and displays the Adelsheim family coat of arms above its main entrance portal.
Built between 1588 and 1592 by Michel Niklas, the castle stands on the site of a former 12th-century fortress.
The castle represents a significant example of German Renaissance architecture in the Main-Tauber region of Baden-Württemberg.
The property, acquired by German Property Group in 2018, is undergoing renovations for conversion into an assisted living facility.
Each of the four corner towers provides different views across the Wachbach district and surrounding Baden-Württemberg countryside.
