Schloss Westerholt

Schloss Westerholt is a four-wing castle surrounded by water channels and situated near Westerholt Forest. The grounds include walking paths and garden areas that extend across the property.

The castle was first documented in 1193, marking its earliest recorded history. The Westerholt family made it their ancestral home and eventually took the name Westerholt zu Gysenberg as their family designation.
