Schloss Wildenstein, Renaissance château in Fichtenau, Germany
Schloss Wildenstein is a three-wing castle that combines architectural elements from different periods. The building displays staircase turrets and gables that were added during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
The von Knöringen family transferred the castle in 1662 to the Hofer von Lobenstein barons, who had abandoned their former estates. This ownership change marked a new chapter in the building's history.
