Schloss Wildenstein, Renaissance château in Fichtenau, Germany
The three-wing château features architectural elements from multiple periods, including staircase turrets and gables constructed during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
In 1662, the von Knöringen family transferred ownership of the château to the Hofer von Lobenstein barons, who had left their properties near Burg Lobenstein.
Local legends and supernatural stories surround the château, with numerous accounts documented in regional literature and historical archives.
The château sits at coordinates 49.0711 latitude and 10.2064 longitude, within the Schwäbisch Hall district of Baden-Württemberg.
The structure originally included four corner towers, which were removed during nineteenth-century modifications to the building.
