St. Mary's, Neoclassical church building in Neuruppin, Germany.

St. Mary's is a neoclassical church building in Neuruppin featuring a central tower topped with a vaulted dome. The facade displays Ionian pilasters flanking the doorways, with wooden galleries supported by corner staircases inside.

A devastating fire in 1787 destroyed the medieval church that previously stood on this site. Architect Philipp François Berson designed the replacement structure, which was completed between 1801 and 1806.

The former parish church has served as a cultural venue since 2001, hosting concerts, conferences, and community events throughout the year. Locals and visitors gather here for arts performances and public gatherings.

The building is located at Kirchplatz and is easily accessible by local public transportation. Check ahead for current event schedules and opening hours before planning your visit.

The wooden arched roof spanning the nave is one of Germany's largest surviving examples of this specific construction method. This type of wooden architecture is rarely seen in modern times, making it particularly noteworthy.
