Castle Neusorge is a Renaissance-era château in Mittweida featuring architectural elements from multiple periods. The main building is accompanied by secondary structures and houses a well-maintained orangery building on the grounds.
The castle was reconstructed following a fire in 1579 and acquired its current form after 1720 under General von Armin's direction. The structure remained a center of noble activities and significant local events across centuries.
The name reflects the location's origins in cleared land from earlier times. The structure defines the local landscape as a symbol of the town's past and draws visitors interested in studying historical buildings.
