Stadtkirche in Bad Wimpfen

The Stadtkirche in Bad Wimpfen is a Gothic structure with two slender eastern towers and a high roof standing on a hilltop in the old town near the marketplace. The interior impresses with soaring vaults, ornate windows, and a rich collection of historical artworks and furnishings.

The building is first recorded in documents from 1234 and received its choir around 1270, while the nave was completed in its current form around 1529. A major restoration in the 19th century added further artistic elements to the structure.
